The following Fake News Alert is in addition to Kapatid Insider's recent fact check post, in relation to a claim regarding ASAP Natin To's upcoming final broadcast due to low ratings, which is FALSE and MISLEADING.
A Facebook post from "BES PHILS" has claimed that a noontime show on GMA, Tahanang Pinakamasaya! (produced by TAPE) that this was the leading noontime show of 5.7%, compared to E.A.T./Eat Bulaga!'s 4.1% (combined TV5 and RPTV) and It's Showtime's 2.9% (combined Kapamilya Channel, A2Z and GTV), which has been sourced by an unverified surveying company. OUR VERDICT: FALSE AND MISLEADING INFO. The only truth is, for the February 16, 2024 episode of these three noontime shows on Philippine Television (source: FB/Baylon Ngayon c/o Nielsen NUTAM Report for February 16, 2024), that It's Showtime has been voted by 4.5% of the viewers (c. Kapamilya Channel, A2Z and GTV) making this was the leading noontime show for that date. For E.A.T./Eat Bulaga!, it has been voted by 4.4% of the viewers (c. TV5 and RPTV) and Tahanang Pinakamasaya was voted by 2.9% (GMA).
